Start IHSS with a Denver-metro agency

Dedicated Home Services is a Colorado-licensed Class B agency on the in-home support services (IHSS) path for Health First Colorado members in the Denver metro. Call (720) 591-0000.

How to start IHSS with us

1. Case manager

IHSS is authorized through Health First Colorado (Colorado Medicaid), usually as part of HCBS or Community First Choice. We cannot decide eligibility, hours, or the care plan. Start with the case manager.

2. HCPF provider list

If IHSS is authorized, choose an agency from the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing IHSS provider list. Confirm Dedicated Home Services is listed for your county. We serve Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties. If a public list still shows another county, call us to confirm we work in yours.

3. Agency intake

Call (720) 591-0000 or send the form below. We complete agency intake and attendant setup. Ask whether we are accepting new clients in your county.

Who we serve

When we are authorized, we work with:

Authorization, not a website form, decides which tasks and hours are covered.

Family attendants

Under IHSS, a qualified family member can work as the attendant through Dedicated Home Services. We handle the agency side: orientation, payroll, and following the authorized plan. The case manager and our office set that up together. We do not publish attendant pay rates here.

Health maintenance

Health maintenance activities — tasks that would otherwise be skilled — are provided only when they are authorized under IHSS. We do not advertise wound care, skilled lifting, skilled nursing, or medication administration as general services. Medication reminders can be part of personal care.

Hours and backup

The office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–2:30 PM. In-home visits are scheduled. We do not staff overnight or live-in coverage. Required 24-hour backup for a missed scheduled IHSS visit is separate from overnight staffing. It does not mean the office takes new requests around the clock.

Questions about IHSS

How do I start IHSS with Dedicated Home Services?

IHSS starts with your Health First Colorado case manager, not with an agency application for eligibility. If IHSS is authorized, choose Dedicated Home Services from the Colorado HCPF IHSS provider list, then call (720) 591-0000 or send our intake form so we can complete agency intake.

Which IHSS populations do you serve?

We serve adults, young adults, and children, including people on HCBS-EBD, HCBS-CIH, CHCBS, and Community First Choice (CFC), when we are listed and authorized for that person.

Can a family attendant work through the agency?

Yes. Under IHSS, a qualified family member can work as the attendant through Dedicated Home Services. We handle payroll, orientation, and following the authorized plan. Your case manager and our office set that up together.

Do you provide 24-hour coverage?

The office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–2:30 PM. In-home visits are scheduled. We do not staff overnight or live-in coverage. Required 24-hour backup for a missed scheduled IHSS visit is separate from overnight staffing. It does not mean the office takes new requests around the clock.

Do you provide health maintenance or skilled tasks?

Health maintenance activities are provided only when they are authorized under IHSS. We do not advertise wound care, skilled lifting, skilled nursing, or medication administration as general services. Medication reminders can be part of personal care.
